This log cradle has been a great addition to my splitter. I've split logs that weigh up to 200 lbs with no issues at all. For those who state that this is somehow flimsy or doesn't hold up - not sure what you're doing but this is as sturdy as can be. Now, I'm not interested in tempting fate and trying to abuse this to a failure point so when I'm splitting a series of large logs I just use a little ingenuity and add a brace - in this case, a 2X4 laying nearby. I've also used a cut branch for additional support. Maybe not necessary but it's an easy hack. All in all I am very pleased and this has proven to be an invaluable addition to my splitter!!

The reviews say it’s flimsy and cheaply made. I bought it anyway seeing a few other good posts about it. I’m glad i did too! It is flat with no bend on the end like the picture. But it works very well anyways and unless you are splitting huge logs you won’t have any problems. (I was splitting big cottonwood logs and it did just fine, just have to wrestle it a lil to keep on the rack. But beats the hell out of picking up twice.) glad I bought it made really well with some good welds too. I would definitely recommend this product!!

I have a 28ton conty line from tractor Supply and it has holes drilled already and the holes match up beautiful but it has nuts welded on the operating side and the shelves has bolts on it and they are welded on also so I'm going to have to drill 2 new holes for the bolts on the shelves to fit in or try to grind the nuts off the splitter. It lookes and feels like a good product but didn't know I had to refab the whole thing to get it to work. Sorry I was expecting to try it out today but I'm going to have to go and get drill bits that will work. I think it will loose strength if I dont use the welded in bolts. I guess it's just mine that everything welded but just letting people know.

Solid build, perfect for what I needed. Maybe some day if i get a welder i will build a bigger one, but for now this one will save my back

Seems to be built solid . It is not universal for all log splitters. Ordered this for my neighbor ( Full Boar brand ) bolts on shelf are not even close to holes on splitters. Had to buy a piece of heavy duty square tubing to make a bracket to attach it

Makes it much easier to handle large pieces of that need to be split more than once.
