This product does the job, I purchased it to clasp some diy sewing projects and it works like a charm. You do need some force to get the buttons on properly or else they'll pop off but you catch on how to use it quick. Comes with a ton of buttons and colors. Would recommend.

This kit includes everything you need to install snaps on any material, and is much easier to use than the more expensive name brand kit I bought at my local box store. The plastic snaps are of good quality, but make sure you trim the little spike in the center or they wont snap correctly. I use a pair of nail clippers and it snips off easily. Also, be sure you have both pieces centered in the tool before you press or you'll warp the male piece of the snap and they are very hard to remove without ripping the fabric it's embedded in.So far I've used these to make onesies and cloth diapers and they have been perfect.

I bought these to use on doll dresses. No where in the instructions does it say you need to snip the tips off of the pin parts. If you don't they will not snap together. I had to find out this info in the reviews.If you are lucky and you think you got them to work, watch out because they fall apart after only a few snaps. I am returning.

Easy to use, works well, holds up to time and use. I put snaps on the baby clothes I made and they stay well but are also easy to open. Great purchase.

I notice if I don't snip the top of the pointy part of the snap there's too much of it squashed inside after pressing with the tool, making the two pieces unable to snap together, and then I have to remove it and I've wasted a snap. Works fine as long as I remember to ship the top. Great price.
