I almost returned these because I was not using them for my paddle and they are a little small for my ankle. I then found I was using them to attach myself to other boats, poles, secure things to my paddle board and kayak. They are very handy to have out on the water. I keep at least one attached to my paddle board all the time and end up using it every time I go out!!

I love these Paddle holders. They are stretchy but return to shape well. They are great for securing my Paddle and helping strap dry bags down.

Had a friend go wrong side up with his kayak a few weeks ago. Sure, it was funny. A lot actually. Everything was nice and secured except his tie down straps, little ice chest, and his paddle. I caught up with the ice chest and paddle 50 yards down river and realized how much it would suck to finish the next several miles sans propulsion. I mean, really. A long stick like an old school river boat? Tie his boat to the back of mine and paddle us both? I would likely have taken my paddle apart and shared one end with him. Those might work but aren't high on my list. He received a 3 pack of paddle/gear lanyards for part of his birthday gift (I'm aware they come in a 4 pack) and was glad to see them. They are long enough to grab the ice chest from the back, get what you need, and toss it in its spot without it being tethered directly to the kayak. Also long enough to paddle comfortably without adjusting your stroke.

Bought a 4 pack, they seem to be made well. The clip seems to be made out of stainless steel, the velcro wrap also is very well thought out. It has a smooth inner surface so it doesn't scratch whatever you attach it to, glad of this as I have a ruler decal on my paddle! Will be using one for my paddle, one for my landing net and the other two will be used for fishing rods!

These are really good quality and the price was awesome for 4. Not sure if longevity as I just got them. Totally questioning why I have never had them as I paddle in some good sized waves.
