There were tiny plastic tabs on the cable connector that prevented it from mating to the motherboard connector. Thankfully a sharp blade took care of it.

For some computers, I'm sure that's perfectly fine! But for my laptop,(HP Envy x360 m6) it's extra length is causing a bit of overcrowding near my hinge and my network card. But besides that, it's a solid piece that works well.
