These are perfect for putting across a gate. They work well on my dog fence and I can still unhook them when I need to open the gate. Nice solid handle.

Works well. Hole is smaller and makes it hard to slide 1/4in polyrope into it. Its doable just not quick n easy

The handle is basic but functional and worth the price. There is a very stiff spring inside. If you have a high tensile 14 gauge galvanized steel wire fence this is exactly what you need. If you are running 17 gauge aluminum for a small garden you might need a lighter spring added to the non hook end. I want people to know that this is more than just the handle.

They seem adequate they work but they don't have enough travel with the spring in the spring tension is so tight I can barely stretch them into place without disrupting the fence. They're usable and they do what they're advertised to do I just wouldn't recommend them.

There should be no fear about using this item with electric fence voltages they are sturdy enough for normal handling and should last a long time.
