I'm new to drumming, i was super excited about this drum, i've taken it to a few drum circles now and have my more seasoned friends in the SCA give it a test run, all with glowing review. its a very well balanced drum i have a few friends who i need to link this too so they can have their own.

I bought this hoping to get something that sounded decent. Spoiler alert, it's not close to decent. The paint coat on it smells horrible, like they spray painted it. You can't hold a sticky spray painted instrument under your arm, and that's how you play a Darbuka. The material is also cheap and came dented down the cylinder and damaged at the bottom The design on it is nice, so the artisan did a good job. Otherwise, avoid this and buy a good one.

Arrived poorly packed, with a dent, scratched paint on the exterior, flaked off paint on the interior, and stinking like cheap plastic model paint. Returned immediately.

The drum is ok, nothing special. The tuning tool wasn't sent so I requested it over three weeks ago and asked for instructions on how to remove/reinstall the internal jingles, the seller just wrote: send your address. I sent it and asked for tracking info. I have not heard back since and have not received the missing tool. Contemplating a return, I am not impressed with this treatment and the product isn't that good.
