First code p0420 popped up for bank 1 sensor 1 on my 08 honda ridgeline. Saw reviews on this and thought it should work. Bought this, replaced it, code p0420 went away but now it's throwing code p2627. It did not fix the problem, it just changed the problem.

2005 honda odyssey. It simply works. I would clear codes then code pops up within 10mins of driving. ECO turns off, runs slightly rough, Eats gas, smelly exhaust. All due to bad misfire for years from previous owner allowing van to run on 3 cylinders. After major tune up and service, both sensors on the same bank died one at a time. Changed out this downstream sensor a week after I changed out the upstream and it runs perfect. Not so easy to remove downstream and install new. But, hey that's what needs to be done. No getting around it. Releasing 3 old wire clips is hard to do one handed in limited space and no eyes on it. Just break old ones off. Zip tie new wires to factory location after install both ends. Length is identical to factory sensor. Happy with purchase.

Used this on my 2008 Honda Ridgeline as a direct replacement. The sensor itself fits in easily. However, getting to the sensor requires some effort unless you choose to remove the entire air intake manifold. Works well so far with no issues and no warning lights

I bought this because even though I had no Check Engine Light (CEL) or hidden codes my car was getting 5mpg worse fuel economy than normal. I hooked up my scan tool and saw that the stock bank 2 sensor 1 o2 sensor was adding 5-10% more fuel and was lazy to respond to changes compared to my front one. So I bought this sensor and installed it.Immediately as soon as I start the car, CEL pops on, the car is running like total crap, and blowing black smoke(RLCBBS). So I hook up my scan tool check the codes and it’s popping a P0174 (bank 2 sensor 1 too lean). So I check the scan tool data log and the sensor isn’t reading anything and thus the ecu is adding max fuel. I shut off the car and check that it’s plugged in, but of course it was because you can’t put the connector back on the mounting bracket unless it’s completely plugged in or completely unplugged. So I go back clear the codes, and start it back up. It immediately is running perfectly. Sensor is responding normally and adding roughly the same amount of fuel as the bank one sensor. Ok cool it’s a fluke, it’s working now, no biggie. I made a bunch of stops around town and it worked flawlessly through out the rest of the day.I go to leave for work the next morning and as soon as I start the car. CEL and RLCBBS with code P0174… again. So I let the car run for a min and shut it off. Well it worked yesterday so I’ll try it again. Cleared codes and restarted the car. Runs perfectly. Drove it the rest of the day no issues. Go to leave for work the next morning BAM RLCBBS with P0174. Clear codes restart can and it’s running fine. So I’m starting to notice a trend. The next morning I figured it’s got to have something to do with the sensor needing to be warm before it works so I tried leaving the key on for a full minute before I started the car to give the internal heater a chance to warm it up first. That had absolutely no effect. For the next week I didn’t have time to troubleshoot it any further so I just kept my scan tool in the car so I could clear the codes every morning. Finally the weekend came and Saturday morning before starting the car I swapped the sensors. I thought MAYBE there is something wrong with the car or wiring so I moved the bank 1 sensor 1 into the B2-S1 position and vice versa. Go start the car and AGAIN RLCBBS but this time the CEL code was P0171 bank 1 sensor 1 too lean. So now I know for a fact it’s the sensor. I contact Amazon and they send me a new one. I put that one in and start the car. It works flawlessly all day.Sweet I just got a bad sensor and now all is right with the world…. Wrong. I go start the car the next morning and BAM RLCBBS with P0171 for the b1s1 (the brand new sensor I just installed). I do the same song and dance as with the other sensor and it works fine for the rest of the day. Idk what’s up with these not working until they get some exhaust blown on them for a minute or two.So in closing if you don’t mind resetting your ecu codes every morning then feel free to give this sensor a try. When it’s working it did bring my mileage back to where it should be. However, if that is too much hassle then I would look elsewhere for a sensor. I used this sensor in my 2003 Honda Accord V6 6speed coupe.
