This mini tripod and swivel head camera/camcorder holder is awesome. I'm glad I chose it among the dozen or so I researched on Amazon and Google. It's sturdy with a solid weighty feel, but not heavy. The tripod and swivel head are actually two products which mate well and both provide a standard 1/4" mounting screw for the photo gear. The swivel turns 360 degrees horizontally and up to 90 degrees vertically, so the gear can be held sideways if the distance from its mount hole to the table surface is not more than three inches. If the gear is larger than that, you can put the swivel head on a regular large tripod instead of the mini. The tripod with the swivel attached can be configured as a cam grip with the 'handle' (closed tripod) at any angle comfortable for your hand and wrist, or you can leave the swivel off and have the handle perpendicular (90 degrees) to the cam mounting surface. Truly a great product and a very reasonable price!

This reminds me of years ago when you could buy a good quality item that's made very well. Everything today is plastic and just doesn't last! You'll find this made sturdy and out of metal and is actually a heavy item!CUDOS to this manufacturer that make a quality mini tripod that will last for years!Thank You.

I bought this to use with my ICOM IC-705 and the two of 'em seem to like one another. The adjust ball allows the radio to be positioned at various angles. The maximum weight handling is listed @ 6lbs and the 705 weighs in @ 2.2 w/o battery. If you add the extended battery and the Peovi cage (12oz) AND Windcamp bracket it still under 4 lbs.It seems well made and I'll update this review if it's necessary, but for now I'm satisfied with the product.

Purchased this so that I could mount my handheld thermal monocular on and set in the window of a shooting house while hog hunting. Sturdy enough that I don't have to worry about a $2000 dollar piece of equipment falling 15 feet to its death. Its also surprisingly short with the legs folded out, which is what I needed.

Nice little tripod. Has a little weight to it. Sturdy, compact all rubberized aluminum construction. I’m using it with a Zoom R4 recorder. I think it’s going to work perfectly.

What a great product.If you are looking for a sturdy compact table-top tripod that can handle a heavy load, look no further.The ball head is first rate, as is the quality. The whole affair collapses into a compact ball-head-on-a-stick that could be useful for video work. And you can not beat the price.Note: if you are looking for an adjustable table-top tripod, this is not what you want. The legs only work in one position, which is fully extended. When I want extra height, I place it on top of a stack of books.
