Works great. Takes about 2 hours to heat up the block on a 1975 580B backhoe. Easy to install, seems to be very high quality.

Much easier than a block heater install that requires punching out a freeze plug. Only complaint is that upon filling the radiator, coolant started pouring out of the seal between the heating element and the body. Factory installed the element crooked. Had to loosen the 4 bolts that hold the two halves together and draw the element in evenly to seal the two halves.

i use it on my dragster together with a circulating pump on the coolant and i get the engine to 160 f in about 2 hours

I find these to be good, effective devices. They do what they need to do.... They must be mounted low as indicated in the directions. They are heaters and expect them to get hot. I have two of this model for old tractors.

Installed no problem, cord length is long, heats the motor like a pro in negative temps.My only issue was the plug got damaged but I replaced it with an industrial strength clamp on style one.

Only used it twice but heats motor good 4 hours plugged in at minus 18 and my old international backhoe fired right up very impressed good product
