I use this in my son’s red eared slider tank. It does a great job of keeping the water at the right temperature. The turtle doesn’t mess with it and it looks nice in the tank. The suction cups are great and stay in place. We’ve been using it for over a year now without issue. I highly recommend it!

I purchased this heater because I purchased the same one at a pet store in my area. And my poor little turtles were suffering-- they were so cold. So I added this heater to their tank and they are happy now. The light comes on when it is heating and turns off when it is not. I really like this function. I positioned both heaters horizontally at the bottom of the tank and i think it works better than vertically, on the side of the tank. I think that it heats the area(s) that they frequent the most, which is near the bottom. It is not a very big heater, I have approx a 50 gallon tank and 1 heater can not keep up. Plus I have 3 turtles so the second heater makes them very comfortable.

These are great heaters for my pet red eared sliders. These keep my 2 baby red eared sliders warm throughout their entire 40 gallon breeder tank. After a full water change I like to let these run for about an hour before placing the turtles into the water. I like that your also able to open the protective casing on it to clean the actual heater itself. The heater is turtle safe as it provides a metal coil that prevents the turtles from biting up the cord.

I’m so annoyed. Doesn’t work. Bought this in May, didn’t use it right away because my baby turtles were really small and I didn’t want to put them in a bigger tank yet. But I finally put them in the bigger tank 2 days ago, plugged this in before inserting it in the tank-Light stood on. Once I put it in the tank, no light. Took it out the tank, plugged it back in and the light just flashes once and that’s it. Doesn’t heat up. Now I’m out of luck Because I can’t get a refund or return! 🤬

have only used it for about 3 weeks now and the temperature has never gone to 78° and my turtle is in a small tank so it's not like it has a lot to keep warm but it does keep his water at 72-74° so i can't complain. It's better than his water getting down to 60 or less but I'd definitely look into other options and probably spend a little more money on a better heater.

Stability was nice and keeps temperature at a stable rate. Not bulky at all and easy to assemble. I love the appearance of it in the tank bc it blends in with rocks. The quality isn’t the best because of the cheap plastic.

Lo compré porque era exactamente lo aue estaba buscando para mi tortuga. Los calentadores de vidrio los rompen, asà que compré este pero no funcionó. No calentó nada :( decidi mejor comprar uno de metal. La verdad si me. Habia emocionado con este calentador
