Got the bluejay model for my nephew, and it was immediately opened and put together Christmas morning- the controls were super intuitive and it had surprisingly realistic bird flight- a complete delight until their ridiculous cat ninja-lept into the air and took it out. So maybe a little too realistic? So, it works great and it's quite fun! Just keep it away from your cat because it's quite delicate.

My son got to fly the bird twice and it broke. I would not recommend this item. Too fragile for kids.

Old r/c guy here and I've found this to be a rather sophisticated high tech model. Amazing for the price. I'm fascinated with how it flys and steers. The instructions must be read and understood by an adult along with a few test flights before ever giving it to a child. Give it straight to a kid and within five minutes they'll either have it broke or on a roof, guaranteed.

So I have a large very skillful mix breed bobtail cat that can clear a privacy fence from the sit position when he jumps...the toys I buy have to challenge his hunting ability. He loves it when I get this out to play! He stalks it while it flys and nails it out of the air as practice...Warning ..the birds in the trees attack it because they think it is real. Can make it a challenge to fly...hahaha..it will tear if crashed Into trees...and does not fly really well upon taped repair...a blast to watch cats stalk it and grab it out if the air...Good fun!

This product is really cool when its working, but getting the remote control to connect to the bird is not reliable and frustrating for any kid or adult.

Charged the batteries, neither would turn the bird on. Six year old was very disappointed as he saw this on a kids video and it didnâ€™t work. Not a good birthday present.

Yes, it flew so good that it flew right across the street, over the neighbors house, circled a tree and landed near the top. Hopefully it is building a nice nest, but never saw it again. Make sure you have a lot of room before you let it go!I have no idea if it was a user error and product error, so that is why I gave it 5 stars.

Ordered a red and a blue, they advertise as being the same except the for the colour. That was not the case. Returned the blue and ordered another red.

I ordered this product "Zing Go Go Blue Bird" twice and have returned it twice as it was not the same as advertised, also there was a price difference of $10, the one I ordered being the dearer of the two, I was very disappointed because this was to be a Christmas present for my grandson and I have now run out of time to get something similar for him.Not Happy!!!!
