My husband lost the zipper pull from his favorite winter work coat. To replace the whole zipper was quoted $$. He was afraid he would have to throw it away. But his wife (me) knew Amazon sells everything. I discovered these zipper pulls and for next to nothing, I ordered them and gave them to my husband. He said he didn’t need a college degree to manually attach the pull. It was so simple. AND it’s as sturdy as the original pull. Now life is good again in our little abode.

While these are not designed necessarily for a messenger bag, I used it for that and the ones that had string pulls worked well, the others did not. For the price, I would recommend for sure. Can be used on clothing and many other things. When my loses another one, we now have plenty to replace with.

Took me a minute to figure these out, but after I did, they were easily installed and work GREAT! Not flimsy! Love them! Would definitely buy again!

There are two things you need to know about this product. First they are not small. They are a fine size for jackets and coats. They're too large for other articles of clothing. Like if you have a dressy sweater or a pull-over top these are too large and would be unattractive. They are fine size for medium and small size bags and luggage. The second thing you need to know is that most of the included items require that you connect a metal U bracket and a plastic pull tab.. I found these difficult to assemble and fussy. If you're old or have poor vision or have problems with your hands, I would look for a different product.I can speak to longevity. After regular use - probably 3 days a week - for six months one broke. The metal bracket snapped. It was the heaviest model in the assortment. It was installed on a bike handlebar bag, so it worked hard but it was not abused. Bottom line: not reccommended for a daily use bag or luggage. Also lasts a fraction of the time of a quality zipper.So if you have something you use infrequently with a missing pull, these will help. But if the item is used frequently, these are not built to last.For the right situation, worth the price.

The lego pull assemblies will not stay assembled. The carabiner pulls are not confidence inspiring as far as staying fastened. The fabric loop pulls can be had for $7.99 per 100 and are a better value.
