My students loved these as a gift! They are good quality and allowed for them to get creative and the colors are so pretty underneath!

Our 2, 5, and 9 year olds all loved this activity. The entire kit is high quality, easy to use, and easy to clean up with a dishrag or broom. There are enough bookmarks for several activities or would make a great party favor or classroom gift! The price is also great!

The kids love virtually everything with this "scratch paint" on it and these bookmarks were no exception. I couldn't wait for them, though, and it wasn't long before I was doing some "testing" on my own. You know, for science. Here's what you need to know.I did these several designs in about 15 minutes using one of the provided styluses. The stylus was long enough for an adult to easily use. The styluses are also fairly sharp, so, while this product is listed for ages 3+, you'll definitely want adult supervision for young kids. This set includes 36 bookmarks, 36 ribbons, and 36 protective covers, however, there are only 10 styluses. Some other buyers complained about this so be sure to take it into consideration when purchasing. But really, what kid is only going to want to do one bookmark?! They're going to want to do several. To me, 10 styluses seem more than enough. These are listed as "rainbow" but that's not accurate – the patterns underneath have more of a "lava lamp" look than a rainbow look. See photos. That said, the underlying pattern still creates a nice effect when you get to scratching. These aren't overly messy but that's not to say that there's no mess at all. The scratch paint is much like that found on a lottery ticket ... but a little bit chalkier and not quite as thick. So, when everyone's done, there's quite a few bits of black gunk left behind. It's not sticky and can be removed with a dry cloth or a handheld vacuum with ease.I did notice a couple tiny issues. The ribbons appear to have been cut with a heated knife or similar – many of the ends were stuck together. The did come apart with some tugging. This set provides protective covers so that you can protect your bookmark designs from getting scratches. And this is a nice touch. However, there's no hole for the ribbons which is mildly inconvenient. To solve this, you can use a hole-punch or small scissors to create a discrete hole for the ribbon.Overall, this bookmark set is a good value. People of all ages like scratching designs on to these and I'm happy with the purchase.

I bought these for my students to do at the end of the year, and they loved them. Good price for the amount, but I wish they had more tools for scratching the bookmarks. There are only a few.

You do have to package/assemble the sets yourself. Came in the package pristine and none of the black had been accidentally scratched off. Be careful when separating so you don't scratch off the film. Not enough scratch sticks per bookmark, so if you are distributing these individually you may want to get a pack of toothpicks or skewers. I bought these as a birthday treat bag favor, but will also repurchase as a reward or holiday gift in my elementary school classroom.

I got these for another craft for kiddos to do at my daughter’s painting birthday party and they were a hit! They really hold up well, and are good sized. The creativity the kiddos can come up with nothing is the same and all are beautiful in their own way. I had kiddos from the age of 3-10 completing them and had no issues. 😊 if you are a 90 kids they even may bring back your art class from growing up!
