OVERALL: I found the blankets to be warm for their weight and surprisingly easy to re-pack (I fold mine into a strip, fold it up, and finish with a half roll). I spent about 10 minutes in 40 degree weather standing with the bag on and went from uncomfortably cold to just fine. It was too warm to sleep in a house heated to 70 degrees. I am not sure how one would make one of these into a tent (as pictured) or a poncho (as claimed) unless it was cut up but that's not really the purpose anyway. I like that, unlike the famous chrome emergency blanket, this is already a bag. This makes it a lot easier to use efficiently rather than trying to wrap up and keep drafts out. The orange is a great color for signaling too!VALUE: Getting two of these for the price is a good deal.SIZE: I am 5' 10" and the bag comes up to the top of my head but cannot be used as a hood without me curling up. In other words, it's nearly long enough to seal me in - but not to see out of if I tried to cover my fully the top of my head.DURABILITY: I didn't really stress test these - but even with gentle use I did notice some "stretch marks" which showed up as discolorations on the one I tested out. I don't think this affected performance, but I am not even sure what could have caused it. I bought these for emergency bags, though, not long-term use. Thus, while I gave the durability rating a moderate score, I kept the overall rating high.

with so many various natural disasters across the US, my family and I wanted to ensure we have adequate preparedness if we need to flee our home. These are simple, good size, really compact for our go bags. highly recommend.

These sleeping bags are not the best in the world, hence the affordable price, but there sure do the job. They go in the car for trips and stay in a handy closet at home when not on the road. If the car breaks down or the heat goes off at home, No worries.

Light weight and they take up very little room. Will easily fit in a glove box or a back pack. Nice to have, may never need them. Good product.

Great to have in the car as a "just in case" especially if you live in the cold climates. Exposure is the number 1 issue so these will do the job to keep you alive.

I have not had the need to use the product yet! So this is more of a info for people thinking of buying it. They are about two times the thickness of a space blanket, and sealed in to a tube with a opening at one end. Colored orange on the outside. Personally I think it is way over priced, based on the cost of a space blanket. Like I said they are made of twice the thickness of material and sealed in to a tube and at one end. But. I don't see that making them cost 7to 8 times as much as you can get space blankets for. I understood this before I ordered them but comepaired to the idea of spending a cold night in the woods. I decided to buy them anyway ( you could use some gorilla tape and a space blanket to make your own) (((as I did instead of buying a tent that is closed on both ends, using 3 space blankets and gorilla tape and Velcro tape so one end can open and close))¹.. skipping the floor and reinforced where tent pegs will go with some more gorilla tape. Would lay down a space blanket as a floor mostly get holes in it but will reflect some body heat back from the ground. ((( I have the make sift tent sleeping bag and plenty of extra space blankets))) may not make for the most comfortable night but may save your life in a bad event.. the sleeping bags do include a small stuff sack each, about the size of your fist,so that is a plus worth around $1 each. Still over priced a bit of a cash grab but not as bad as freezing..

I carry one in my hiking back pack and one in my truck.Small and compact. Can be carried almost anywhere without even knowing its there.I used one of these as a blanket in my tent and they are extremely warm.Would be ideal in a survival situation.

These are package very small (1.5â€diameter by 3â€length) packed in little stuff sacks, and light, with high visibility colors. They will help as one of the layers to protect against inclimant weather and better than 2 garbage bags.We may never need them but we will have them to cover us or an injured person. They were very cheap on Black Friday and arrived in 2 days in rural Alberta.

What a great idea ! Very light and compact. So keeping one or 2 in your vehicle or on any long outdoor excursion provides and extra piece of confidence knowing this is with you. Comes in a very small bag and is very roomy when opened. It's surprising how this sleeping bag keeps the warmth in. A nice bright orange and durable seems for long term use. Although you won't be able to fold the bag back up and put it in the same pouch, just use a larger bag.
