It's inexpensive, not too terribly made, and can be "doctored" to improve it. The "Ways" are actually pretty well made and has brass shims. It does have a lot of movement and end play, but it's all in the feed screw nut / thread bars. I was going to just make some new ones with better threads, but I "experimented" and found a way to (at least temporarily) tighten up the tolerances in the brass nut. Hint: Small hammer and anvil".

it works fine but had to adjust the slides they were to loose but other than that it was fine, using it to mill motor stator
