Excellent Performance:
The wool ironing mat is designed to absorb heat and steam effectively, allowing the heat and steam to penetrate your fabric. This eliminates the need to turn the material around or use additional steam, as you can iron both sides simultaneously.
Notes:
1. Avoid leaving your iron on the wool mat for extended periods. For optimal results, set your iron to WOOL or MEDIUM HEAT.
2. Always place the mat on a water-resistant surface. As wool is porous, a small amount of moisture may pass through the mat with prolonged use of steam during ironing.
Care Instructions:
1. To clean, simply rinse the mat in the sink or bathtub and hang it up to dry.
2. Do not machine wash. When the mat is wet, simply hang it to dry.
3. Avoid twisting, bending, folding, or rolling the mat. Store it flat whenever possible.
4. Never store the mat when damp or wet. Ensure it is completely dry before storing.

I needed a pressing mat that would protect my table, but would be sturdy enough to allow me to get a good press on my fabric. I looked at several different ones before I decided on this one. I’m really glad that I did.The size of the map that I selected ended up being a perfect size for my side table. The mat is thick and very sturdy so that it does not compress down when pressing firmly on the fabric seams with my iron. In addition, it does not slip and slide across the table when I am ironing my fabric - it stays in place very well!The silicone pad that comes with it is an excellent addition to my purchase of the mat. Not only does it protect my tabletop, but it also protects my fabric when I am working on a larger piece. The underside of the silicone pad has a raised surface so that the silicone and iron are not sitting directly on the table or fabric.This mat allows me to have an iron right next to my sewing machine so that I do not have to keep getting up to use the larger iron and ironing board. This helps me to get my projects done so much faster.

I am a beginner quilter and this has turned out to be a very useful tool that is used by the best quilt shops. The wool felt iron pad is great for ironing flat the sewn edges making piecing much easier and more accurate. The silicon iron mat is a way to keep the iron handy and safe from tipping, also a tool used in high end quilting shops.

So handy to use for a quick press or craft projects. Worked great pressing a counted cross stitch project prior to its final mounting. Steam and heat from iron didn’t go thru to the back side! No need to drag out the ironing board for small-ish projects.

Love this product!!! This is great for my sewing room!! I don't have room for an ironing board in my room. This is a great size so I can iron pieces as I go and not have to run downstairs to the ironing board. Very sturdy, I think it will hold up well. Doesn't take up space so very easy to store! Love!!

I really like using this product. It’s nice for ironing quilt pieces without having to break out the ironing board. Makes work light and easy. I use a steam iron and the steam saturates the wool mat so be careful of the table you are using underneath. Also, it does have a little bit of an odor. Overall though, I do enjoy using this mat.

This is something I have wanted for quite some time. I should have purchased it earlier. The mat is of good quality and I am very pleased with it's performance. It makes pressing seams much easier.

This is the perfect accessory to any seamstress or crafter's tool kit. It's the perfect size for using at your sewing machine or work table for small pressing jobs for which you don't want to drag out your full size ironing table.

I've been looking at these type of mats for, literally, years. Started making art quilts and needed something that wouldn't require that I relocate the quilt top to apply pieces (using Wonder Under by Pellon). This mat works beautifully for this purpose! Easy to move around. Thick so you don't damage the tabletop when pressing. I use medium to medium-high heat and have had great results. I've not noticed any "wooly" smell that others have reported. I highly recommend this product to quilters.
