I could find a ton of uses for these tethers - a pair of pliers fishing, a buck grint during the rut, even a thumb release during archery - anywhere you need to keep something close at hand, these will do the trick.As you can see from photo, my bino harness doesn’t have a RF pouch, so I use the tether to keep it close by. Can’t afford to go digging in your pack when time is of the essence!

Just what I needed! I was looking for a way to keep my phone tethered to me while hiking. I had been using a regular lanyard, but the strap got in the way when I wasn’t using my phone. This coiled tether is perfect. It’s long enough to easily view the trail and snap pictures of nature, then coils back up when I put my phone away. The coil is strong, and my phone didn’t hit the ground even when it dangled—it felt secure with no stress on the tether. The plastic buckle seems sturdy, but I’ll keep an eye on it after each use. A metal lobster clasp might be a nice improvement for future designs?
