Great product and great value very accurate and very easy to use I wish it came with a way to hang around neck for hunting I'm sure I can figure something out but other than that awesome !

Listen, if you are looking for a scientific grade or engineering grade range finder, you won't find it here. If you are looking for a decently accurate and well put together rangefinder that you can use for not only hunting, but also golfing and general distance finding...this will work just perfectly for you.I'll be honest, I'm a decent marksman and a less than decent golfer. If my rangefinder is off 10 yards or so, it really isn't going to make that much of a difference. I remember the 20 years I played golf and shot guns before handheld rangefinders existed and we managed to use fairway markers and shoot using optics and judgement.This is a nice rangefinder at a good price, it will give you a pretty accurate idea of how far away you are from game, golf pins, or whatever other object you can hit with the laser. I'd recommend it for sure.

Overall size of the unit is good. It's slightly larger than my high-end German rangefinder, but pretty close to my older US branded (but Chinese made) rangefinder. Oddly, as I have large hands, despite being between the sizes of my other rangefinders, I found it the least ergonomically friendly to operate. It probably just fits smaller hands better.Something that takes some getting used to is that it doesn't have an eye cup like most rangefinders that get you set up for optimum viewing, instead you have hold this rangefinder at just the right distance in front of the eye to get the best/full picture. Not a deal breaker, as it's fairly easy to get used to, but probably sub-optimum while hunting and trying to quickly acquire and range an animal.For ranging it worked well. Results were repeatable, and very close to my high-end unit. It was able to exceed its advertised range capability, at one point giving me a range of 1408 yards. A somewhat unique feature is that it vibrates once it gets/displays the range. Thought this somewhat odd at first, but after some use actually like this feature.Speed of ranging is decent. Not as fast as my high-end rangefinder, but better than my older US branded one.The lanyard is a wrist style, for hunting it should've been a longer one so you could hang it around your neck.The case has a magnetic closure and a small/light duty carabiner on the back. Both of these are sub-optimum for a hunting application. The case should have a buckle style closure to prevent possible opening/loss of the rangefinder, and the carabiner is too small to attach reliably.Optical quality is better than expected at this price point.The box still says "golf rangefinder", which makes me think they just put a different paint job on it and called it a "hunting" rangefinder.

Just this past weekend I went to the range and had a chance to use my new Hunting Range Finder from AMAZON and the PEAKPULSE Store. What a pleasure it was! Easy to operate on the two sets of two, AAA size batteries.No More Guesswork about the distance to my target. Just push and hold the "Range" button and the display will show you the distance to your targets. The "Mode" button allows you to set for meters, yards, feet. I love the auto shutoff after 8 seconds! It is truly a one-handed operation. In my case, I was able to use my one hand to bring up the rangefinder while still holding onto my weapon with my other hand. This device fit my hand perfectly. Very ergonomic. The enhanced LCD screen has a 6X optical zoom which is very nice.This rangefinder comes with a 1-Year warranty from the manufacturer who also offers 24-hour online service. This is exactly what I wanted, all my boxes are checked with this Golf/Hunting Rangefinder by PEAKPULSE. I have given this product a full FIVE STAR REVIEW!!

Picture shown through the lens doesn’t capture how clear the picture really is. Objects are very clean and crystal clear through the lens. We don’t use this as a golf range finder but instead use it to see how far farm animals and game are away from us. I like that the product came with batteries and even extra batteries and a cleaning cloth. I find it funny that a warning on the box tells you to remove the protective plastic from the batteries before installing them. Good laugh! Worthwhile range finder that I would buy again. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it is a bit longer (larger) than my other one and is mostly plastic.
