Using tips:

I am impressed with how much ink these pens will hold. You can write several words before you need to dip one again. They are beautiful and comfortable in the hand.

I gave two of these away and kept one for myself. The one I kept had a very small blob of glass on the tip that Brock off when I pinched at it. Needless to say, it left a rough broken tip that doesn’t write well. I may try to sand it to see if I can smooth it out. Before that, it wrote beautifully. The swirls hold a lot of ink, so you can write or draw for some time before redipping. I think this was just a quality control/flaw issue. Otherwise, it seems like a nice, fun, very aesthetically pleasing pen to write and /or draw with.

I have just started using these pens and have written about 10 pages with them on several types of paper. They are very nice pens for any price and I can't believe they are so inexpensive. I have used many different fountain pen inks and some work better than others but for the most part, they perform well. I can easily get a paragraph with 4 to 8 sentences on a single dip depending on the ink I use. I totally recommend.

These glass pens are both functional and pretty. I use them for detail work in watercolor paintings and I'm pleased with the quality.

These glass pens are cheap and they feel cheap. The glass is very pretty, so I will give them that, but the tips of each pen were so scratchy and sharp. I took some Micro Mesh to them and got them smoothed out enough to write, although I don't think most people will have that on hand. You could use a nail file or fine grit sandpaper to smooth them, however, if you don't want to have to tinker with these, skip them.They're a fun novelty, but if you want to use a dip pen, I'd go for a cheap Speedball steel nib dip pen set instead. You'll have a much more pleasant writing/drawing experience without much adjusting needed.

There's a reason these glass dip pens are so cheap. One of them came with a broken nib. The other two may or may not be broken. They can be used, but the writing experience is not smooth - unlike the broken one that left crumbling glass as I tried to write. If you aren't sure if you'll like writing with glass dip pens and you are hesitant to spend $20-$40 on a "real" one (Herbin, Teranishi, etc), these aren't a bad starter option. Even with one being broken, I enjoyed playing with the other two enough to eat the loss. So it depends on what matters to you.

I bought the glass dip pen mainly to do ink tests, much easier than wash out fountain pens.And it writes better than some of my other dip pens. Not to mention it's very pretty.I'm impressed.

Tenia miedo de que al ser plumas hechas de vidrio llegarán quebradas pues solo las enviaron en un sobre de plástico desde tan lejos, para mi suerte están intactas y me gustaron mucho

Two out of this three pack works fine. One of them is really scratchy and tears the paper. I’m not returning since there’s no guarantee I will have at least two smooth ones next time anyway. I use these to try out ink before I refill my fountain pens. These dip pens wash very easily. I wouldn’t write a whole page using these but they’re perfectly fine for writing notes or gift cards with fancier inks you usually don’t refill your daily pens with.

2/3 vinieron rotas del mango (la plateada y la rosada). Las puntas sà vienen con un tubo plástico protector pero de todas formas el embalaje es pésimo, medio envueltas en papel burbuja y metidas en una bolsa plástica, sin duda que por eso se rompieron los mangos. Ni forma de pegarlos porque se perdieron piezas muy pequeñas que impiden unir las piezas.De todas formas uno no paga por estar pegando el producto que debió llegar en buenas condiciones.Una de las plumas rotas no escribe muy bien, los canales deben estar mal hechos y por eso la tinta se queda en ellos en vez de fluir a la punta, o escribe un par de palabras y ya hay que tomar más tinta para continuar (ejemplo en tinta morada) traté de limar un poco la punta pero el problema persiste, insisto que los surcos deben estar mal hechos.La segunda pluma rota escribe mejor, pero es inconsistente el trazo. De un lado escribe punto muy fino, del otro un punto medio a grueso (tinta rosa). Puede que sea conveniente en algunos casos pero tampoco es lo ideal.La única pluma que no vino rota (ejemplo tinta azul) es la que mejor escribe, aunque ciertamente es un poco rasposa sobre el papel lo que puede causar que el trazo se "emplume" un poco. En realidad todas las plumas son algo rasposas y pueden lastimar el papel si fuera muy fino (yo las probé en 100gsm)Quizás fue culpa de la paqueterÃa que me tocó (iMile) pero no hay forma de saberlo. No volverÃa a pedir este set.
