I am really not a fan of artificial decorations in my fish tanks, but I needed something for my african dwarf frogs to hide in and any type of cave-like thing I would build myself from natural items would likely end up looking fake anyway. Not to mention that I was afraid to build something on my own that might fall over and crush them! Better to buy something designed specifically for animal hiding. Based on the positive reviews of this relatively inexpensive product, I figured it would be worth a try. I received this yesterday and I am surprisingly pleased at how well the "wood" on this decoration blends in with the natural manzanita branches and plants I have in the tank. No, it doesn't look natural, but it doesn't look bad either. I also checked the inside for rough edges based on previous reviews, and didn't find any. It is the perfect size for my 10-gallon tank and my frogs. It is just right for them to hide in, and small enough that it doesn't take attention away from the rest of the tank. The frogs took to it immediately and I am glad to give them a home other than behind the filter where they used to like to hide, which is far less appealing. Would not hesitate at all to recommend this for ADFs.

I gave this a 4-star rating because it did have some extra ceramic from the molding that I had to chip off before I put it into the tank. They were kind of sharp, but I was able to pick them off with my finger nail. Other than that minor flaw, it seems like a well built decoration. As other reviewers have stated, it is smaller than I expected, but overall, the right size for an average betta fish. I put it in one of my 2.5 gallon tanks and it does look nice and fits well. I have yet to see him go inside of it, however he does perch himself on top of it. It's only been a few weeks, so he could still be figuring it out.

I’m so happy these came in safely and in one piece. Nicely packaged along with my floating logs 10/10. Planning on using these for my 10gallon and my new 20gallon. Sadly the items were delayed but Amazon gave my a shipping fee refund which was nice.

I have a African Dwarf frog in a ten gallon tank. I also own other larger tanks. I love bettas and plan on getting another one son. I already own two floating Betta logs. When I saw this one, I knew I wanted to add it to my collection of aquarium accessories that I keep on hand to rotate from time to time. I put this in the tank with the frog. He hasn't found it yet, but I'm sure he'll like it. This replaced a piece of PVC pipe I had in the tank and he loved swimming through it.I rinsed it out thoroughly when I received it, ensured there were no sharp edges and just put it in. It seems durable enough to last several years. It is made of a heavy plastic and does stay on the bottom of the tank without having to weight it down. In the tank, it nearly looks like a real piece of wood.Overall, a great purchase that I recommend without hesitation. It arrived promptly and exactly as described.

I don’t think my betta can even fit in it and it’s not at all like picture or zoo meds floating log. More of a smooth ceramic.

I am giving my little sister a 3 gallon Betta tank for Christmas since she loves helping me with my fish tanks so much, this little Betta log looks like it'll be a great hide for her Betta tank! The first time it came broken, but I got a new undamaged one within 4 days! Some people said the edges were sharp and needed sanding, but this one wasnt sharp or rough around the edges at all! (The ceremic would be easy enough to file down for a Bettas delicate fins though!) I like the appearance and size, really cute little hideout for a Betta! Or other smaller fish!

los huecos mas chiquitos tienen pequeñas imperfecciones "filosas" pero se caen pasandole el dedo, lo removi para evitar que se corte sus aletas asi que los que lo compren deberian remover ese defecto, literal es como una sobra del molde super delgada que se cae facil pero tiene un poco de filo para peces, de resto todo es suave y sin peligros

O produto parece ser de boa qualidade e confortavel para o paixe. Mas infelizmente o meu veio quebrado e tive que passar uma cola para a ceramica não machucar a betta.
