This is a great tool. I have long used a rolling dowel for flat breads and crackers, and I greatly prefer this. The weight of the tool does the work, and only a light touch is needed to direct the tool for rolling. (Weight is 4.5 pounds).It makes it easier to get almost perfectly round flat breads like tortillas. Great for shaping naan and piadine. Doesn't require chilling for most uses, but recommended for summer use when working with puff pastry and similar pastry dough.Dough does not stick to the very smooth and very well made roller. It's beautiful, and I wish I had bought one long ago.

Love the weight of this roller, helps to get consistent pressure while rolling out dough, added separately purchased bands to control thickness too and works great.

Bought as a gift for my daughter. Beautiful material. A great rolling pin. The heaviness makes it so easy to roll dough out

I love this marble rolling pin it is so heavy it is so amazing and it flattens though in no time you don't have to keep working at it with wooden rolling pins! A few rolls over it and the dough is so flat it's amazing! Buy it! You'll love it for the value the quality is so there and of course it has functionality.

As expected. These marble rolling pins make anyone who rolls dough easier. Heavy so you don’t need to push down so hard. Easy to clean too!

This thing is heavyyyy. Much more so than the previous one I had. I believe this is a great quality for working the dough. It also came pre-assembled which i think adds to its smooth function (my other brand did not.. and the handles broke after a couple of uses). I'm only deducting a star because although it's lovely... it's got far more gray marbling than the photo. I really wanted a whiter less patterned marble. But I'm still going to keep it.

It's heavy and aesthetically beautiful, dough barely sticks at all compared to wooden rollers I had in the passed and it's a great conversation piece, I love it

The bearings are so stiff that the roller will not spin while rolling out dough. I tried with pizza dough and it ripped the dough. The metal shaft running through the marble roller with the handles attached is flimsy. It bends with any kind of pressure on it. I would have expected more from a $60 rolling pin. I didn't realize until I received this item that it is an American company. I will be returning it and buying from a Canadian company.
