For the price, this dual swing opener is hard to beat. It's well-made, looks sleek and modern, has strong and quiet swing arms, and is DC powered. It does not come with a battery, but a 12V battery can be added along with a solar panel and small charge controller for completely off-grid operation. Any 12 volt battery will work, just match the charge controller to the battery chemistry. If using a 12V LiFePO4 battery, it's a good idea to choose one with a low temperature cutoff because this will be outdoors.Battery and solar is a good choice for locations where it's not easy to run wire underground, but if you have power accessible it can also be hardwired.This kit comes with two small key fob style openers to keep in your vehicles. Zumi sells additional fobs and also has a keypad available that is easy to add. I got the keypad and it is just as premium feeling as the opener and works well.

The product is a great price for a dual gate opener. I had it professionally installed. We connected it to low voltage transformer as noted in the instructions. It worked well for 3 weeks and then the control board went out. Now it will not work. Unfortunately , it's not easy to get in touch with their customer service. You have to leave a message - they have never called me back

This is an automatic gate opener that is app controlled and can open gates up to 900 lbs (~409 kgs) or that are 20 feet (~6.1 m). Check the included chart in the product photos for reliable opening. If the gate is 900 lbs, reliable opening length would be 5 feet. If the gate is 800 lbs, reliable opening length would be 6 ft. 700 lbs is 8 ft and so on so forth. Reliable opening weight for a 20 foot gate would be 250 lbs.I received the single swing gate opener.You will need to connect a 12V power source to the gate opener to power it for it to function, such as a 12V AC power source to the AC port or 12V DC batteries for use with the battery port. It can be converted to solar, which is very convenient since you won't have to remember to charge the batteries.Great solution, especially as an alternative for having a gate that needed to be opened manually. This is a great upgrade!

These are great quality! They do not come with the battery though.

Replaced an older gate opener that was showing its age with this Zumi app controlled gate opener. Previous opener would only work via the ingress keypad and egress weight sensor. This resulted in having to wait at the gate to enter the code on the keypad and then wait for the gate to open. Now we can open the gate via the app or remote or - even better - with the geofencing feature that automatically opens the gate when you get within a certain range. That's easily my favorite feature. The opener has plenty of power and easily moves our 14 foot gate without issues.

Gate opening kit for a single gate. This is used in our Goat area, and it has been fantastic. Our gate isn't heavy, and there have been zero issues with it opening and responding as it should. Way easier than getting out opening everything by hand.
