Reliable Reversing Sensor
- The emitter is designed to generate an infrared light beam.
- The receiver is used to detect any interruptions.
- TC102 creates a safety barrier that identifies any movement between the emitter and receiver. Once the infrared beam is blocked, it effectively makes the gate stop or reverse automatically.
- Commonly used for the household, courtyard, farm, ranch, warehouse and other commercial / industrial sites.

IP44 Waterproof for Outdoor Use
- The infrared ray of TC102 is immune to strong light interference, such as sunlight and vehicle headlights. At the same time, most of the family light also will not affect the infrared sensor of TC102.
- Weather resistant for all seasons of the year.
- Working Temperature: 0°F to 120°F (-20℃~ +50℃)

Simple Wire Connection
- Connect both the receiver and the emitter to the gate opener system. Please refer to the corresponding User Manual for the correct wire connection.
- Connect the emitter to the gate operator system or receiver with a 2C x 22 AWG cable. Connect the receiver to the gate operator system with a 4C x 22 AWG cable. Cables are required but NOT included.
- It is highly recommended to install the emitter 10 feet (3m) to 46 feet (14m) away from the receiver.

Easy DIY Installation
- Power on to determine the emitter position. The photocell status LED turns off indicating that the beam is aligned.
- Ensure that there is no obstruction between the receiver and the emitter during alignment.
- It is suggested to mount the photocell sensor at least 8" (20cm) above the ground. The distance between the sensor and the control board should be within 65 feet (20m).
- One TC102 photocell sensor can only work for one gate operator, while one gate operator can connect two TC102 at most.

The TOPENS TC102 Infrared Beam Sensor has been a lifesaver for gate safety. It detects motion perfectly, stopping the gate if anything’s in the way, which is a huge relief with kids and pets around. Setup was easy, and it’s worked flawlessly, rain or shine. A simple, reliable upgrade I’m so glad I added!

The price is great and the product is great. The installation it comes with doesn’t give you much information. The installation to the gate opener doesn’t give you much either and the wiring diagram wasn’t help. I watched the installation of the gate opener on YouTube and took screen shots of the wiring diagram. It worked. It’s a challenge if you don’t know much about electrical. Their customer service will help you. They do have great customer service.

These photocells hook up directly to the Topens motor very easily. I have a set installed well over a year ago and haven't experienced any issues.

The wiring was a little tight because of the compact size but they go together as they should and they work perfectly.
