It worked great the first 2 times I used it. Now, whenever I go to charge the bottle it all slowly leaks out the tip. Everything was operated according to instructions and 8gr CO2 contrainers were used, never doubled up on.Waste of 45 bucks.....

I love the color of this soda siphon, and of course I like the idea of eliminating waste and saving money by making my own seltzer water at home. The first one I ordered became defective within a few uses. Water began to squirt out of the CO2 port and would continue to leak until the Whip-It Soda Siphon was empty. I am not sure what happened. I received a replacement rather quickly from Amazon and so far the new one seems to be working fine. I used to buy seltzer water and I loved the intense bubbles so it is an adjustment to like the less-carbonated water that results from this. While I DO love the color I would have to say it makes it difficult to determine when you reach the max fill line. A clear one might make more sense if you don't want to measure the water you put in.

These kind of soda makers are way better than the plastic ones available anywhere.Why?Because the unit is metal and won't burst in your face with plastic parts that will blind you.These are the kind of units they used in the old days and they are still the best.Whip It has upgraded the old bottles with this new tactile covering in various colors.Here are the pros and consPROS- Works real well. Much better than the plastic exploding junk.- You will get significantly better carbonation from this enclosed unit vs. the plastics.CONS- I'm not convinced the rubbery tactile covering is lasting. I have a feeling it's going to disintegrate within the year.- I just wish these units could be bigger. One liter is not enough.Net net is these units will save you tons of money f you drink seltzer. TONS.

This is a fairly inexpensive soda symphony which works great. I use it in my coffee house to make Italian cream sodas and people are loving them.
