Great Quality Mat, Very Corse Mat for the cost! Fills very well and wets excellent! Makes great quality strong Fiberglass with minimal amount of resin!

I used product to repair my pond prowler plastic boat that sustained a hole in the aft due to fire. It was my first time making such a repair and I must say it turned out great. The holed was patched and easily sanded. I painted it and was back on the water with a complete waterproof repair. Thumbs up

After reading others review of this product I was apprehensive to purchase however this product worked perfectly. Yes I agree where the sheet was folded the fiberglass mat gets frayed but most people are going to cut this mat up into small sections to make it usable. Chances are if this does not satisfy your need for chop mat then you probably wouldn't be making a purchase off Amazon anyhow.

Fiberglassmat,wetted out easily. I really could have used a heavier mat but layering worked fine.

I have only used a little bit of this so far but it is what they said it was. If you are used to the bondo brand fiberglass mat this is thicker. It conforms well once wetted out but is pretty stiff before that. No complaints really. Depending on your application method you might not even notice. (I use a brush not a roller.)

You can see the powder in the bag so its the epoxy compatible stuff, its folded but not compressed, when I unfolded it on the table it laid flat right away, I didn't see any damage at the folds or feel any weak spots. Be gentle with this it seems more fragile than the mat held together with styrene for polyester resin, overall I'm happy with this, if I need more I WILL BUY THIS AGAIN.
