Price was excellent for this pack of locks. I only needed the bar that keeps door closed. Loved having different side bars and one was perfect size. I did need for a mailbox but will be using these for when I make grandkids to banks.

This lock perfectly fits on our mailbox which is part of an outdoor array put up by the HOA when the development was built. So many of these locks will NOT work in this installation because a certain part of the lock body is raised and cannot fit flush into the hole in the door. But not this one! When we moved in, the owner had only one key for the mailbox and for some reason, that key could not be copied. It went back to the time when the post office provided the locks and the keys to these units. So, the brick-and-mortar home-improvement store couldn't copy the key, and the post office looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for a copy of the key. So, I went and got this lock. Using a slot head screwdriver and a 14mm (I think...), wrench, It took less than 5 minutes to install it!It's a nice, 'tight' fit and the action is smooth and solid.

I live in a condo complex where our mailboxes are in an upright “bank†- - what a surprise to find out the replacement lock was a homeowner’s responsibility! I looked at the reviews/price of this one and I was sold…and having 3 keys is a bonus too.
