Needed these to connect two100w panels in parallel for my portable solar charger. They do what they are supposed to say a good price

Works great is exactly what’s needed to put together to portable solar panels to double the output

When doing parallel or parallel/series strings with your panels this is what you need. Good quality and good price.

I got this cable to allow me to connect up 4 100w solar panels in parallel. So far it's been working great and the extra leads over a solid non-flexible construction has proven very useful. The application depends on many factors and use-case is dynamic, for me it works. As with cables like this and the power delivery I wanted to investigate the connections. From the last 2 images the 4mm wire is crimped well to the pin giving a solid connection. There was one crimp that was not 100% of the way but the clamp from the connector held it in place just fine with a tug. The clamp has all the right parts to it from the grabber to silicone boot.Note: I had to force the pins out (safely), they did not slide out easily which is a good thing.Resistance wise my meter read The wires themself looked like tinned copper as the middle did have a copper look to it. The shielding marks a 4mm wire which is 12gauge and consistent with observations of the pin connection and MC4 crimp tool to test if they are fully crimped. The MC4 connections with each panel was solid and clicked in nicely. There was no wiggle or anything loose. One pin did require just a bit more force to seat but did seat fully. The thing that's nice here is the junction screw holes. This allows me to secure the split to a frame to keep things neat while allowing flexibility in connections.

I just wanted this cable to work and so far it does.

I originally picked up these solar connectors to do some post-storm maintenance on the panels I've got running my outdoor electronics. The batteries weren't charging properly, so I gathered all of the necessary parts to change-out the entire cable system. For better or for worse, though, the problem ended up being with the battery connections -- meaning these cables didn't get used. However, they look like they're in pristine shape and exactly the right kind of connectors that I'll need when I do rewire everything, so I'm holding onto them until then. I will update this review if any problems are found!

I had two pairs of Ecoflow PV panels that I connected in series for 44V and needed a Y-connector to combine the four panels to one pair of cables to bring to my power station. The Y-connectors snapped right in place on the Ecoflow Bi-facial 220W panels and the Ecoflow 100W rigid aluminum frame panels. Tested them by giving them a tug and they stayed connected and made a semi-waterproof connection. The next day an atmospheric river hit and dropped almost 2 inches of rain and the connectors were dry on the inside. The connectors came in a clear plastic package without any specifications or markings and I've never heard of the brand before, but they worked like a charm easy to connect and disconnect the MC4 connectors. Simple and efficient I wouldn't use them on a system being inspected as there is no product sheets or specifications included with the cables just the two connectors in the package.

Some of the products I've purchased for my ad-hoc solar array have shown up with questionable quality. Fortunately, this branch adapter is made very well with high quality materials and connectors.I took off one of the connectors to verify the wire gauge, and it is indeed 10AWG. For shorter sections like this, I've seen some manufacturers skimp on the wire gauge, but not this one. Admittedly, I cannot see inside of the "splitter" section without destroying the cable, so I can't comment on the interconnection quality.Another thing to note - the "splitter" portion has screw holes for mounting. This is a really convenient feature that I didn't realize when I first order them. When installing multiple solar panels and using the standard solar connectors, cable management can get a little wonky. The inclusion of the mounting holes allows for a cleaner installation.
