I love these! I’ve been using this type of back for years. Why would you risk losing your favorite pins? I use my pins. I’ve got them on my lunch box, my coat, my travel bag, and even my work lanyard. I always use this type of locking back.Basically the tiny black screw screws in until it’s compressing the metal of the pin. It’s not going anywhere.I even gift these to friends if I gift them a pin. My friend has done marathons with these holding her pins to her backpack. And I’ve got a beloved pin on my work lanyard I wear daily that stays put. In years of doing this, I’ve lost one back. But it was on my daily wear work lanyard and it had two pins so two clasps therefore I didn’t lose my pin.I didn’t spent all day trading pins at PAX West to get my Goomba set just so one could fall off or be yanked off. No. I’m locking it on. I never use traditional pin backs.PROTIP: Try to get the insanely tiny black screw into the hole before you remove it from the plastic bag. Get it just set so you can screw it just enough to hold it. Only then should you place it over the pin to tighten fully. Don’t risk dropping that tiny screw. That’s the only improvement I could possibly suggest. Having that screw already in place.I'll be back for more. Again.
