Do you have an older propane tank, one that still uses POL (Prest-O-Lite) connections? You may find it a challenge to get your modern appliances to connect to your propane tank. The reason for this is relatively simple; most modern propane appliances use the newer ACME QCC1 connection type. The QCC1 connection type has become a standard feature on propane tanks and devices everywhere, making it difficult to use a POL-style tank. If you have a POL-style propane tank, you may have to purchase separate regulators or a new propane tank entirely just to use your gear.

This works great on the propane tank for my RV. Easy to put on and do not have any trouble with it. I had been using a different brand and had trouble all the time.

The main feature is how I no longer have to use a wrench to change the tank on my grill and through the gauge is not precise it's plenty good enough to tell you when the gas is getting low without have to pick up the tank. Saved me from buying a new grill.

I had this hooked up and working properly. I thought!The rubber piece (around the male part) as partially missing.(No, not torn, was just not manufactured all the way). Anyway it Drained a 25 gallon tank of propane within a couple of months. Luckily their was no EXPOSION!I could not figure out why my big tank drained propane so fast. We pay $4.70 a gallon for Propane here in Hawaii.These Valves are NOT USA made.
