Note: The built-in stop valve will hold back the propane airflow and will not easily cause leakage.
Warm Tips:
1. FULLY TIGHTENED at both propane tank side and grill side before using on your propane appliances. Also ensure that propane tanks are kept away from open flames and high temperatures.
2. Make sure the propane tank is closed before refilling for safety.

Installation Steps:
1. Disconnect the grill/appliance regulator from the propane tank by turning the nut counterclockwise.
2. Connect the propane tank gauge to the propane tank.
a. Connect the black collar side of the Propane Tank Gauge into the propane tank outlet. Turn the quick-coupling nut clockwise. Use your hand to tighten the Propane Tank Gauge. Note: Use of a wrench could damage the quick-coupling nut and result in a hazardous situation.
b. When connecting the gauge, have the face of the dial in a vertical position with a tilt to the gauge so that in case it gets wet, the moisture will run off the face of the dial.
3. Connect the regulator/hose to the brass end of the propane tank meter by turning the nut on the regulator clockwise. Hand tighten the regulator nut clockwise until it stops.
4. After the connections are made, slowly turn the liguid propane cylinder valve back to the OPEN position. A reading on the gauge will appear.
To check for leaks, wait 20-30 seconds, then close the valve on the propane tank, lf there is a leak, the needle on the gauge will move towards the red color, lf the needle on the gauge does not move, there is no leak present.
Note: The built-in stop valve will hold back the propane airflow and will not easily cause leakage.
Before Installing, Turn Off the Following Equipment Adjustments:
- (1) Ensure the burner valves in your grill/appliance are in the OFF position.
- (2) Ensure the propane cylinder valve is closed.
