I bought these pins for quilting, while joining seams together that I have to match perfectly. With multi layers of fabric they do not go into fabric easy, as if they are old pins and not sharp. They do not function like a new straight pin should! Therefore they really don’t function the way I expected, gliding into fabric. Might be ok if they were being used on a cutting board and you are pushing through evenly with both edges and just using to stabilize and not worried about matching seams or only two layers of thin fabric, but holding in hands is almost impossible to get through fabric.
