I have a power plan that is 4.2 cents/kWh except from 6-10pm, so from 6-10pm (22cents), I run on batteries, and it works flawlessly for this purpose. The manual can be a bit confusing at times, but they do answer emails and chats by next day. My current setup is 15.5kWh of battery power and I expect to get my return on investment in two years (or less with Fed tax credit.) This also has the added benefit of acting as a home UPS. That is, if power goes out, everything connected to this inverter stays online. Combine this will a small generator to charge the batteries (the best use of a generator) and you have extended backup home power. PS - yes, i did clean up all that wiring.

Set the unit up per the instructions. I am totally off grid and live in Arizona so have perfect blue clear skies and 8 hours of sunshine right now.Unit will not charge batteries from Solar despite restarts etc. Now on 3rd day of emails with support in China.After a lot of fine tuning of the program parameters and some changes to the solar array the unit now performs extremely well.

Really good unit, works better in Europe but we got all our problems worked out. The people are really easy to work with, and I would highly recommend them if you need an off grid power converter . Thanks for everything.,

very good appearance, working fine, but there is a big problem, that is, the machine is working with no light on the screen for me to see, I can't say the solar charging the battery, can't tell if the inverter is working, there are no blinking indicator lights showing you anything. For the first two weeks I was seeing everything but now I can't even see nothing on the screen

So far so good. Love the updated round geometrical stronger shapes - and going straight to 110volt. After all - how often do you need 240 volts with z small 3000 watt inverter - here in the united states. It seems like a mature product. Updates if anything bad happens.

THis is the worst inverter being offered and this company is a major customer service failure . I bought the unit 5 months ago and it started giving a 21 failure alarm that shut downs the unit. The problem was sporadic . after that started giving a low battery load eventhough the batteries were fully charged The customer service area is a major failure. After several videos and emails back and forth they determined that the main board needs to be replaced. THat was a month ago and to this date no board has been sent over after paying $150 for shipment. Dont buy this junk.
