This control panel works great in my RV. It was a task to fish the wire through all kinds of crap, and the closest I could get it was underneath the paper towel dispenser in the kitchen, but that's good enough for me. I had plenty of extra cable, but I doubt I could've gone from the front of my 34' 5th wheel where the battery bank is, to 3/4 back to the rear where the switches and testing lights are. The website and manual says it is 33' of cable, but keep in mind you probably have to go up and down and all around. It may not be a straight shot from your batteries to where you want this thing mounted. It mounts really clean and comes with four black screws. Includes template that I never seem to be able to cut it right the first time. Luckily I cut it small this time, so I was able to continue expanding the cutout until the panel fit. The ethernet cable plugs in about halfway back on the bottom edge, so you won't be able to flush mount this if your wall is less than 1/2" thick or so. It probably has a diagram somewhere to tell you the min wall thickness. Obviously mounting it in a camper with those paper thin walls wasn't difficult at all.I read through the entire inverter manual, and thought I read through most of the control panel manual, too, but when I went to change one of the settings, it asked me for a password. CRAP! I didn't read anything about a password, and I sure as heck didn't set a password. Maybe this is a refurbished one that some other dude set a password on??? No, it isn't. The password is 8052. I'm not really sure a password is necessary. If your kid is young enough, they probably won't be able to reach the panel. If they're old enough, they should know better than to mess with your fancy electronic stuff. As far as I can tell, you can't disable the password, and I'm pretty sure you can't change it, although I stopped re-reading the manual after I found the password and jumped back to the panel to start tinkering again.

Connects to the EVO units and displays the data. Does what it is supposed to do. It also allows changing the programming of the EVO inverter chargers.

You can do a lot with this control, I do t know why you’d need the plus version. The only downside for me is it’s a much bigger control than the Magna I replaced with Samlex, in as much I needed to find a big enough space in the control panel to house it.
