Had to put steel plates 1/8" thick under floor pan for my step side to attach to. Other ones were rotted out. Couldn't weld the new ones in would have caught the carpet on fire. These are much easier than ripping a carpet out in the seats and all that. Work fine

Well-made and easy to install, these rivnuts provide a secure connection to light sheetmetal when sheetmetal screws just dont do the job. Perfect for joints that need to be disassembleable.I used these for mounting equipment to the sheetmetal inside my pickup truck bed. Because of the larger hole size, much higher clamping load can be obtained. Installation videos are easy to find online. I recommend using a slightly undersize drill then reaming to a snug fit.

Needed to attach several items to a box tube frame so regular nuts were out of the section. Used these nutserts all items were able to be securely attached.
