The product description states that it's for 4.5" grinders, and while that's true, it leads you to believe the wheels are 4.5" as well. However, if you look at the specs, half of them are actually only 3" (the cupped wire wheels) and the other half are 4". None of them are 4.5". Technically, they didn't state anything inaccurate, but unless you read carefully you won't note that. As far as the wheels go, they're good quality, and hold up under use like you'd expect them to. You get a both straight wire and twisted wire, and both have their applications. I think the price is about what you'd expect to pay per wheel most places whether bought in quantity or individually. I'm satisfied.

Now that Spring is around the corner, I have a list of jobs to be done around the shed, garage and the yard which involve rust removal before I fix the machines and yard equipment. I got the Barafat kit which comes with 10 wire wheels that fit on my 4.5 inch angle grinder perfectly. One word of caution, use sturdy gloves when handling these wheels, since the wires are sharp and can pierce the skin easily.

Unearthed some old metal and decided to try out the wire wheels. They performed well removing dirt and rust. Unlike others, pieces of wire didn't fly off the wire wheels. Heavy duty and well constructed. Check out the pictures.

Used some of these to de mill some square steel tube. Works, takes longer than sandpaper flap discs, but they do seem pretty rugged/strong construction. Should last for a while.!
