The XINTAIHELE 63A 3P automatic/manual transfer switch works as intended, but lacks some refinement and certifications. You can get away with this on an RV or shed if you are willing to trust the lack of testing by a certification body, but no inspector would ever approve it for home or industrial use.I like that there is both an automatic and a manual option. The body is all plastic except for the base. Unlike many ATS, there is no enclosure and there really isn't a good way to mount it in an enclosure without carving some odd shapes out of a cover plate - this is purely a surface-mount device. There are instructions, barely. They are so small that it is literally impossible to read them even with a magnifying glass. I feel like there is a competition to see how small manufacturers can print instructions, because what other reason could there be to make the text smaller than the text on an dime? How much more would it cost to just print this on a letter size piece of paper?I checked this on a test bench and plan to install it in a utility trailer to switch between inverter and shore power. It is definitely not a fast-fire ATS - the transfer takes at least a second, as advertised. I wish the connections would allow deeper installation of wires due to the likely installation somewhere that is subject to vibrations and movement, but the connections are very solid. The connectors engage only about 6mm (1/4in) of wire, and if you are wiring for 63A, that's not much to grab onto for the heavy wire you should be using.

I am using this is a bus conversion and it is working great. There is a small delay to change over, but it isn't a problem. Installation was fairly easy and I have it up and running in on ly a few minutes. This was probably a bit overkill for me, but I would rather be a bit too much then not enough. Overall, it does what it says, is easy to install, and is well made.
