Wow does this sifter work!I hand-sifted flour that I ground myself for years. Tired of this taking 30 min - 1 hour, I decided to take a chance on this sifter. It works so well! For 300 g (2/3 lb) of flour, my hand sifting yielded 69% extraction -- after 45 min -- sifting in small batches. This sifter yielded 87% -- in less than 2 minutes. Identical results in terms of the consistency of the sifted flour, just more from this sifter.My hand sifter and this machine have the same mesh: #40. This lets through some of the finer bits of bran. This was exactly what I wanted. But the sifted flour is not quite white flour. If you want white flour, you will need to special order a finer #50 or #60 mesh for the machine from the sellers.If you think you could use this sifter, just buy it. You won't be disappointed.One thing: It is HUGE, and does take up a lot of space -- but I'm so happy I got it.

Do you grind wheat!? Use this sifter! Great for cost, especially the fact that it takes out the time of hand sifting.

I grind my own flour for breads and pastries. Getting the bran out of home ground flour is laborious, and very time consuming, UNLESS you have this sifter!! It is quiet, fast, and depending on the size of the sieve, you can choose the fineness of your flour. I have had this for well over a year, and LOVE IT!! It makes all the difference between heavy and light and fluffy breads and baked goods!!

I go through a fair amount of cannabis. I use this machine to produce large amounts of kief for making hash. The screen it comes with is too big of mesh so a lot of plant matter does get through but it takes one run in an oven to clean it up. Great item for making large quantities.

This sifter is amazing! It makes sifting fresh ground flour a breeze! This instrument has made life so much easier since I use flours at 3 different levels (24-, 40-, and 60-mesh). And working with the seller for the additional mesh sizes was also a great experience. The seller was so prompt and easy to work with! This sieve machine is a really remarkable piece of machinery. We now spend a fraction of our time working our final powder product through a sieve. Very quiet and does not move around on the table. I was able to reach out to the seller and get the specific sieves we need and we switch between the two for different products. Our company recommends this product!
