Glad I decided to pick this fire basket for offset smoker. It fit my Dyna Glo signature series DGSS675CB-D heavy-duty barrel charcoal smoker firebox. I would recommend this basket to anyone who has a Dyna-Glo signature series dgss675cb-d heavy-duty barrel charcoal grill.

I've only used a couple times so far, but it seems to be holding up fairly well. I did condition it like you would a new smoker by spraying veg oil on it and slowly heating it up with only a handful of charcoal and keeping it at low temps for several hours. The oil might not matter as much on stainless, but why not.. I did notice some warping, however it did snap back for now.Easy to assemble, however some of it is a bit sharp including the handles. You'll probably be using leather gloves when moving it around anyway.I also bought a pair of stainless minion method maze bars to help with long burns.Will update later as I get more use out of it. Even if it does warp some, it shouldn't be much problem. Can always tig weld a bar in the center if it comes an issue. Thicker material would help, but the price would definitely reflect it.

Nice kit, I call it a kit because you have to put it together. Doesn't come with any instructions , but it's pretty self explanatory , a 1st grader could put it together. I had it put together in less than 5 minutes.

Easier to control the temperature & keep the heat & smoke going. Less decided ash left in the smoke box too.
