I made lots of barf-colored paper and turned it into a barf-colored journal. The press works amazingly, once you get the hang of it. It takes a long time, but the result is great. It just takes a lot of practice.

It's fair to say that I've put these frames through their paces. As evidenced by the photos, I made literally HUNDREDS of sheets of paper with them and they were absolutely wonderful. I do advise that you buy these only for the frames and not for any of the extras that come along with them. The sponge is basically trash so I never used it (instead I used the one pictured), nor did I use the dried flowers or replacement mesh. What I did used were sheets of patio screen that I cut to size. (Didn't staple anything to the frame) I did not find the absence of instructions bothersome because the internet exists and you can find whatever you need to know there. I had only one issue with sturdiness and that was when one of the joints on the larger frame came loose. I was able to keep going and when I was done for the night I let it dry and glued it back together. Left it in the vice for about a day and it was good as new. No issues after that.One helpful tip, you will need to invest in a burnishing tool if you want the pages to be smooth. This isn't anything to do with the product. It's just the nature of paper making.This is a terrific product and a great value if you're looking to make paper for the first time. I'd buy it again.

Wanted to have a craft to do with my grandkids and this was so much fun. We saved our paper and learned how to make paper. We tried different colors and added some dried flowers to create, thank you card and gift tags. They are ready to make more paper items as we are learning about other projects we can do with a paper making kit.

Worked well the first couple of uses but then the frames fell apart. I only had it for about a week.

My kid Hasn't stopped playing with this since she got it. Making cool journals out of flowers and used envelopes. Soooo cool

This is a great product to learn how to make paper. Comes with 2 frames, extra screens, sponge and dried flowers. The sponge was ok, it’s not super absorbing but it didn’t bother me because I had other sponges I could use.

The kit includes no directions, and the generic directions found online show mesh attached flush to the bottom of the frame, not in the middle, and call for removing the deckle, which in this kit is permanently attached. Consequently, the paper doesn’t come off the frame easily to couch. The kit includes extra mesh, but the mesh in the frame is permanently attached, so you can’t actually replace it. And as someone else mentioned, the sponge is a joke. So, yeah. Not for beginners.
