These were super easy to use. They work well. I made a corset with EVA Foam and they didn’t damage the foam. When I pulled to tighten the corset they didn’t rip the material.

I make handmade journals and bookmarks. This grommet eyelet pliers kit is fantastic! The price was right, the grommets are fine for what I need. If you want to get this for leather or sewing I would not advise. It’s not heavy duty, nor are the grommets themselves.

I wanted this to add grommets to art projects on card stock weight paper. Unfortunately, it didn't work for that. I'm sure it would be fine for leather and cloth, but not for paper projects, as they are not thick enough for this size grommet. I will say, they do provide a lot of grommets, so depending on your project, you wouldn't have to buy extras for awhile.

After setting two eyelets I sent this back. Eyelets are hard to line up and leave a flower petal array of sharp edges exposed that would cut into anything other than wire. The pliers seemed sturdy enough for light crafting. I would not want to put them through heavy continuous use.
