I used these to make some automotive gaskets. Place the gasket being cut on top some scrap gasket material to save the cutting edge. Place on a solid surface and tap on it with a hammer. Cut through the material like cutting through refrigerated butter.

These dies are not 100% perfect but they are great to cut down on time and make your circles perfect. We know how hard it is to cut circles by hand. First order I had to return as one of the dies wasnt properly tack weld together. That is why I gave 4 stars. These will work best with a arbor press of some sort. Not sure how hammering these dies will work would. I put a piece of flat steel on top of the die and pressed down on the arbor press. It Cut through will little force. Leather was about 3-4 oz chrome tan leather.

These worked perfectly! I do wish where the seams meet up they were more even because it can leave an odd shape when the metal doesn't match up perfectly, but other than that I like them!

Worked great with cutting perfect circles in polyethylene foam. Use gloves - press down and twist for nice, clean cuts.The set I received had no weld issues as mentioned by other reviews. Overall very pleased with the value for money.
