I'm a licensed master electrician and have decades of experience making up and splicing conductors. I know what good equipment is and how it should perform. These are great. I've used these to connect braided welding cables. They clamp down on the wire very tightly and are easy to use. The size and shape works well with shrink tubing. These are copper so after I cinched down the connections, I used silver solder and bonded the conductors and lug together. The "marine grade" shrink tubing I used will keep dirt and moisture out. I expect these will last longer than the cables landed on them.I utterly recommend these butt connectors/lugs. Great seller, awesome product, and fast shipping.

I do really like these connectors.Very simple to use.The 2 most commons size wires that I work with are 10 and 12 awg wires.These are just happen to be for those 2 size.Super easy to use.Shove 2 wires into the tube and make sure they intertwine with each other.Then screw another in the middle for better conduction.Heat shrink the tube and you're good to go. I just use a simple lighter for the heat shrink tubes.Only 4 stars because you only get 10 tubes for the price. Basically only 5 sets of wires.For that price you can get 100 of the normal butt connectors.

This wire and connectors will work much better than the plastic connectors. With multiple screw inserts to secure the wire you’ll never have a wire come loose. You do not have to worry about soldering either. You can just insert the stripped wires, secure them, and put the heat shrink over them. I recommend this for anyone that wants to make their wiring job faster and easier.
