I picked up these 122 skeins of embroidery thread for making friendship bracelets. It’s a great value for the money, with two skeins of each color. The colors tend to be on the vibrant side, and the string has a bit of sheen to it. When ordering, I hadn’t noticed that they are polyester as opposed to the common cotton. Fine for my purposes, as I’m learning, and am in the process of working out which type of string I’d like most to work with. The ends separate a bit as I knot, but I solve this with a touch of school glue and a twist of the ends as I’m setting up my project. The strings glide nicely over each other as I knot, and the knots have been consistent for me as I work. I think I need an extra little tightening on the first half of each knot, though, as the smooth strings will loosen before I add that second knot if I’m not diligent. Having said that, I am quite content with this purchase, and would recommend it to anyone that would like a large quantity of bright polyester string for only 10 dollars. Hope this helps!

I bought this to do embroidery. The quality is alright. You get what you paid for. The thread sometimes tangles when you’re doing the stitching — it could be me because I’m not experienced. However, when separating the threads it wasn’t a problem. It separated very smoothly.The colors were great. They were bright and exactly as it appeared in the pictures. Note: You will get few of the same colors like you can see in the picture. It isn’t 122 of different colors.Would I recommend this product? Yes and no. If you’re a beginner like me when it comes to embroidery or cross stitching then this product is not a bad choice.However, if you’re a professional then you should stick with DMC or something better especially because these don’t have numbers so it may be a little difficult if you’re following a pattern. You would need to eyeball the colors.If you are planning to make bracelets then this isn’t a bad product. But again, if you’re a professional I would stick with something better.
