I used these to decouple my subwoofers from the hardwood floor. With just the felt covered feet the subwoofers were rattling everything with unacceptable floor boom. My home theater receiver has built in room correction so I could actually test the difference. There was a noticeable improvement in base response and lowering of floor boom and wall rattling. This was an experiment, I will be building decoupling bases using multiple isolation feet for the subwoofers and probably the mains also.

I really liked the quality of these isolation feet. The rubber is strong and yet soft enough to cause a really good gripp. Functionality is good, makes the sound of the speaker clearer with less vibration. Great value and just the right thickness fot the job.

I replaced the feet on my cd player with these and then put a thin piece of plywood (painted black) the same size as the top of the player on top of the player. Then I put a ten pound weight plate on top of the plywood. Jitter has been noticeably reduced and my cd player’s performance has been bumped up a notch or two.Recommended!

These are quite stiff, and do not effectively dampen vibrations or decouple components from vibration or movement. They just don't work when used for this purpose.They would make great anti-skid feet for an item you want o t place on a softer surface you want to protect from scratches or scuffs. For this alone, they get 2 stars, otherwise they would only warrant 1 star.
