I am using this with my table top band saw that I use in my classroom to cut metal pieces for robots. Even though I am the only one that uses it, I like to know that it will stop at a moments notice should anything go wrong. I feel this way primarily because I generally use it when nobody else is in my room and should something go wrong, it will take a while for someone to hear me and attend to the issue. This takes care of that through such an easy means.I like that it is UL approved and will almost always only use something that is UL approved. For large cutting tools, I would not use anything unless it is UL, ETL, or CSA listed/certified. I would want it tested to ensure that a failure would not create a safety hazard.The pedal is easy to operate, and it is needless to say that the connections are easy to make. I have had no negative issues with this pedal as of yet.

This EXQUTOO Foot Pedal Power Outlet Switch, 125 VAC Surface-Mounted Foot Pedal Control Switch is an excellent safety item that allows you to use less of your arms when running a portable firewood splitter. By plugging this foot pedal into my powerline to my splitter- I can now turn the motor on/off with the push of the switch easily and it helps to keep the hydraulic system and motor cooler with a little less running time. I can then reposition a big round cut of firewood onto the rail- push the pedal and get the splitting done safely while not having to lean forward and down low- closer to the wood that could kick back, etc. while pushing a switch with my hand. I replaced an older foot switch that just quit working for some reason with this new foot switch and it works perfectly- just by plugging it into my power source. I had already wired into the access box completing the motor connection, so I had a pigtail cord already in place to plug into. Excellent safety foot switch! Great find!

I got this to be able to remotely start and stop a handheld router while holding in position with two hands. It performed admirably with a noticeable click as the internal switch contacts closed. Highly recommended.
