I purchased this chopper as a replacement for one I had damaged. Based on that experience, I will tell you going into using this chopper to make sure when you're chopping onions to get a very decent amount of both ends cut, because that can be much more rigid and to slice against the grain of the onion rather than with it. This means doing it exactly like they show in the picture for this and comparable products. It wouldn't hurt to quarter the onion first either. Failure to use it like that may very well result in breaking the chopper blade, which I have not found independent replacements for.This chopper also incorporates a slicer function similar to a kitchen mandolin. So far I've only tested that with two of the blade settings, the lattice and the slicer and it's worked pretty good. The slicer is really thin, I mean really thin slices. I think that's awesome but I'm not going to toss out my mandolin in case I want some thicker slices of something. The only other thing I would know about this product is that the hand protector for the slicer has a fairly deep cavity, so be prepared to have a decent portion of whatever you're slicing that needs to be hand sliced or that you're not going to use.

There's a million of these out there. This one is no different, but thats not to say its bad. It works. It has a ton of attachments. It is functional and you'll get some time out of it.

I've been thinking of getting this kind of a chopper for a long time, but just kept putting it off - every kitchen item takes up space, and I have a rather organized kitchen (upto this point, at least - so I don't want to upset the balance). Anyway, I finally got this one and I'm super glad I did! I like the chopper function especially for onions and potatoes (the small and the slightly bigger sized dice - both are useful in my recipes). All the other slicers, attachments, brushes, finger guards etc, are very helpful but what get used the most are the two dice attachments. Very easy to wash, too.I just had to make a little space to store this chopper, everything else goes into it (all the attachments get stored together in the collection bin).

The best kitchen gadget to ever be invented in my opinion. I have three of these on hand. One to use and two as a spare in the event that I break another one. Yes, I learned my lesson, carrots are a little too hard for the small dicer. I mean there is always a bit of trial by error.Works great for dicing veggies like onions, bell pepper, celery, tomato, cucumber, etc. Easy to use, durable and works great.

The StoreHappily 12-in-1 Vegetable Chopper makes cutting veggies a snap. The blades are super sharp so be very careful not to touch them and handle by the plastic frames only. There are 2 sizes for chopping or dicing. The smaller blades allow for thin slicing or 3 kinds of grating/shredding. The processed veggie pieces are collected in the bin. I used the included cleaning tool and brush to remove small stuck on pieces before washing the chopper in dishwasher on top rack.

With a place for everything, this chopper could be a great kitchen helper. I absolutely detest dicing onions so I ordered this solely for this vegetable. I still found I had to quarter the onion instead of cut it in half because the lid with chopper blade is hard to smash down on top of it. And that's really what you need to do with this, is slam it down on your vegetable.The chopping blade is sharp and cleans easily. The plastic bin on the bottom will hold a significant amount of vegetables, and when it's clean it becomes storage for the extra blades and guards.Pros: A lot of blades to choose fromBlades are sharpStorage bin for chopped vegetablesCons:You really have to slam it hard to get it to chopThe extra pieces were hard for me to get back in the storage bin the right wayMandolin grip leaves a lot of my potato unsliced with the guard that is oversized.The plastic is really cheap. I love how everything fits inside the container and actually closes! There are so many different attachments. I hadn't used it at the time I took the pictures, but I used it to chop some onions later this evening and it's sharp! It did a good job of dicing the onions. I can't wait to try all the different attachments out, especially the waffle shaped cutter! Now while the blades are sharp, the plastic does feel a bit cheap, so not sure about longevity on this. Still not bad for the price at all!
