I was always worried about cutting myself on traditional mandolins, but no longer. Not only is this a safe kitchen tool, it is fun to use. I laugh almost every time I use it. It is so nice to quickly slice even slices.This is easier to store, setup, use, and clean than the traditional flat units. The container to catch the slices is so convenient and also easy to clean.Slapping the unit lets out daily frustration and provides a laugh.

This tool works exactly as stated in product description!! Ordered because I needed to slice lots of zucchini for making zucchini chips. This slicer looked safe and made well. It was so easy to set up, sliced like a champ, very safe (follow directions!), was easy to clean and to store!! I’m so glad I ordered this! It’s a welcome addition to my kitchen gadgets!

I have always wanted a mandoline and have been aware that they can be quite dangerous to use as your fingers and hands can get in the way. This product was a snap to set up and I loved how easy it was to dial in the thickness of slices in mm....my scalloped potatoes were so fast to create and the evenness of the slices made it cook uniformly. My hands and fingers were not even close to the blade, easy to clean and it folds so easily for storage. Great product.

Easy set-up, fun to use. Secures easily to smooth counter. Sturdy. If cutting big potatoes, they have to be cut in half first, to fit into the chute. It helps to trim the first part by hand, in a way that will allow the fruit or vegetable to sit correctly against the blade for consistent slices. If the produce goes in at an odd angle you might get different, inconsistent shapes. They will all be the same thickness, though. This slicer makes produce prep easy and fun. There is a tub to catch the slices as they come out. It holds a limited (but decent) amount. It is made specifically to fit underneath the slicer. If you need a lot more you could secure it, without the tub, to a smooth glass cutting tray (or similar). The included tub holds about one large, sliced item before it needs emptied or transferred to a dish. One potato, one pear... Blades are sharp. Amazing for scalloped potatoes. Also makes beautiful display of pears for decorative serving along yogurt, salad, cereal. SO many possibilities. It does make produce prep easier, faster, more consistent, beautiful, and texturally pleasing. The thickness of the cut is adjustable. Safe design. Easy to clean.

This thing really works great. I used it for the first time yesterday to slice potatoes. Worked just as described. Easy to set up and operate. Easy to clean up too. I wish I would have bought one sooner. Cuts your time a lot.

Best invention ever! Slices are perfect, no assembly required, very easy and convenient. It’s also lightweight and sturdy. Easy clean up Just rinse with water and you’re good to go. I love the safety of the mandolin. Your fingers and hands never touch the blade. Just insert the vegetable in the compartment you don’t have to hold on or let alone touch it and pump the handle up and down. So simple and very safe. I definitely recommend this product.

This is not at all easy to use, machine makes human effort less, but using this was more complicated than using a factory machine, quality is bad. Parts were breaking after every use

Une fois qu'on a pris le coup de main c'est vraiment top ! Il n'y a plus aucun danger à se servir d'une mandoline, c'est 100% sécurisé. Un peu plus contraignant à nettoyer qu'une mandoline classique, et prend plus de place. Mais ravie de mon achat quand même.

This is the easiest mandolin I've ever bought.I've never liked any of the others I've purchased.This is the best of the best. So easy to use and you dial the blades to the cut you want rather than having to fiddle with changing sharp blades.I recommend this to everyone.. Plus its easy to store since there are few parts to deal with.Speedy, sharp, light weight, great value for little cost.

Having done myself real damage with a mandoline without a safety guard, I treated myself to this one. It's easy to use, easy to store and keeps your fingers from harm. It cuts a variety of widths and vegetables.
