We will see about the durability but this is the 2nd UTV I have put these on and they seem to be holding up. It's nice not to be tethered to the machine and I can stand near the winch when using it.

The instructions included with this control are the worst I have ever seen in my entire life. Absolutely no wiring diagram that can be considered remotely close to the wiring of the unit. I feel dumber having attempted to read it. Couldn't tell you if the product worked, threw the whole mess in the trash where it belonged and bought the Warn controller. Not even worth returning for a refund. Pure unadulterated junk.

I know, "break if dropped", duh... But if this thing is supposed to be used to control a winch, you won't be in your vehicle. You'll be out in the mud, dirt, OUTDOORS, so if it does get dropped and breaks, yeah, you'll have a second one, but this thing should be rubber coated and designed to take a few tumbles. I didn't install it because I just don't feel like it will last. I'm sorry, this is something that you need to rely on. If it fails when doing a recovery, you're pretty much screwed..

This little box with two big remotes with large enough buttons that anyone with big hands will appreciate. The remote box is easy enough to install with the included instructions. I would recommend using relays to trigger any motor loads if your control box doesn't come with them already to avoid any potential remote control failure. The remotes them selves are large in size and fit very comfortably in the hand and feel very well built. The buttons are silicon in feel and give a good tactile feel when pressed.

Wired up and no action. 12 volt in. Nothing out of relay. Relay clicks and no voltage out of white wire. Yellow wire five volts.
