I'm not sure why Amazon is having me review "night vision" for a power adapter. No you can't see in the dark if you plug this into an outlet. Otherwise, the power ratings are as advertised. Product construction is as good of quality as the original you're replacing it with. If you need legth, this cord definitely has you covered. If your barrel connection is smaller or slightly different, you can always use a universal barrel connector adapter to make this product work.

I’m building a wall lamp using 12 volt led strips. Batteries will work, but not for long. But from 110v from the outlet to 12v, no problem. Perfect solution!
