Tips:
The audible and visual alarms can increase both the sound and flash brightness as the knob is changed. If you only need a visual alarm, you can disassemble the alarm and cut the speaker connection cable that emits the sound.

Have it installed in a taxidermy freezer for hides ,monitors high temperature and low. Eash to set up if you read the instructions, very loud alarm.

It easy to set up if you read the instructions. Took me awhile till I read them good. Bought because me and my uncle both bought new deep freezer. His was less than mouth old and 1/4 beef was lost. Bought mine 3 days later ,so I got on line and bought this. The alarm is very loud! I tested it out. Frz. Is basement. Will buy another one soon.

Works as advertised but the unit goes into alarm 30 seconds after you open the freezer to get some product out. There should be a delay in alarming for this very reason. It takes about 10 or 15 minutes to stabilize after closing the freezer door. I moved the sensor deeper into the freezer, it helped but it's not a convenient placement for me.

Very simple to install and setup. No more batteries to tend to. The adjustability of the alarm is a plus.

wires exiting the module are very loose with a large exit hole, wires appear to just be tethered to the solder board, and will pull out eventually, I will calk ....alarm is loud,runs on 12 volts so can salvage the alarm as a high water alarm, if viewed in a store I would have passed

I do not understand why the power adapter has such a short cord, but otherwise an easy install. Volume of the alarm is adjustable, which is very nice. (I added a knob to the volume control, making it easier to turn off and to see at a glance where it is set.) It shows the temp in the freezer continuously, which is also nice. If it lasts a long time I will be very happy.If it dies or breaks I will come back and revise this review.

Bought this because our freezer lost its charge and spoiled $600 worth of meat. Recharged the freezer and installed this as an extra safety precaution. One of the cons i read about before purchasing it was that as soon as you open the door the alarm goes off. I've actually experienced that same thing as the probe seems to heat up really fast but then takes a minute or so to cool back down to where the alarm turns off. The way I solved that issue is by filling a small water bottle with windshield wiper fluid, drilled a small hole through the lid and put the probe into the windshield washer fluid. That way, it won't set off the alarm even if I open the door for a couple of minutes, but it will still set it off if the freezer dies and the water slowly warms up to the set temperature (I set the non-alarm zone between -30 to -3 celsius). This would still give me enough time to recharge the freezer or move the meat before it hits 0 degrees. It's super loud to the point where I actually am not using it at its max loundess. very happy with my purchase.

We strapped the thermocouple to our sewer pump, and now it alarms us when the pump filter plugs, so we can clean it and prevent pump motor burnout. Totally awesome product.

Bought for more visual aid than an audible but strobe is faint from a distance but the siren is very loud. It all depends on how you intend to use it

We have an outdoor freezer that we don't go into frequently, and I was worried that if it failed I wouldn't hear the alarm on the monitor we were using. The new set up has a volume setting on the alarm, and I can hear it from inside the house, which is important. It also has a lighted display of the freezer temp which I can read from a distance if I am walking past the carport - extra security. This is a much better monitor than the cheaper Chinese stuff.

The product works but it doesnt sense at accurate temperatures. Its been off by 3-4 degrees celcius. I have compared it with 2 others side by side and the others have been showing an accurate reading.
